Representative Family Law Cases

Our attorneys represent clients in a variety of contexts.  While no two cases are ever exactly alike, the following are examples of representative family law cases as well as victories and successful outcomes obtained for our clients:

Restraining Order/G.L. c. 209A Litigation

Represented female survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault in obtaining a restraining order against her former partner.  The client had been verbally, physically, and sexually abused by the defendant during the relationship, and continued to be abused by the defendant after she ended their relationship.  Our Firm successfully obtained the restraining order on behalf of our client even after the local district attorney's office indicated they would refuse to press charges against the abuser.

Child Custody Dispute

Represented mother in a child custody dispute and successfully prevented the father from obtaining unsupervised visits with the children after the eldest child disclosed sexual abuse by the father.  Although the allegation of abuse was vigorously disputed by the father, our Firm was committed to supporting and protecting out client's child.  Ultimately, we were successful in preventing unsupervised access by the father.
