Representative Estate Planning & Probate Cases

Our attorneys represent clients in a variety of contexts.  While no two cases are ever exactly alike, the following are examples of representative estate planning and probate cases as well as victories and successful outcomes obtained for our clients:

Probate Litigation/Defense of Will Objection

Representation of a client appointed personal representative under the last will and testament of her deceased mother.  The client's sibling, who was intentionally disinherited in the will, filed a formal objection to the client’s appointment as personal representative and challenged the validity of the will.  Our Firm successfully obtained an unconditional dismissal of all objections, secured our client’s appointment as personal representative, and assisted in the efficient administration of the will.

Complex Estate and Tax Planning

Representation of clients in the establishment and implementation of comprehensive estate plans, including wills, revocable living trusts, life insurance trusts, health care and financial powers.  Assisted clients in taking advantage of both Massachusetts and Federal estate tax exemptions with little to no interference with the ownership and enjoyment of property, with the potential to save clients hundreds of thousands of dollars in estate tax.

Charles River Law Partners, LLC represents clients in Suffolk County, Middlesex County, Essex County, Norfolk County, Plymouth County, Bristol County, Worcester County, Hampden County, and Franklin County.
